Treatment Procedures / Infection Control(sterilisation)

We have separate sterilization room & trained staff to maintain sterilization. Strict measures are followed in the clinic to avoid the risk of cross contamination.

The procedures followed are:

  • A new set of disposable gloves, suction tips, drapes, sensor sleeves, needles, root canal files and glasses is used for each patient.
  • The housekeeping surfaces are wiped with a disinfectant after each procedure.
  • All heat resistant instruments are sterilized with compressed steam in autoclave to ensure complete disinfection from micro-organisms including spores.
  • Heat sensitive instruments are sterilized by immersion in chemical sterilants like Glutraldehyde.

All the instruments are packed in sealed pouches and stored in a UV chamber and formalin chamber.
